Full-Time Field Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to help manage our team!

Some days are super slow, and you might not have to leave your house; yes, most of our administrative work is done from home, but other days are jam-packed, and you'll be assisting cat sitters from early morning to dinner time.​

This is a very independent job. You must be able to problem solve on your own with little outside intervention. The responsibilities include managing a high volume of scheduled visits and coordinating team member communication. This position requires someone organized, detail-oriented, graceful under pressure, and exceptional at managing people.

The Field Manager is responsible for handling a team of skilled cat sitters. They primarily act as a liaison between the Owner and team members to enhance service quality. In addition, the Field Manager ensures that the work is appropriately delegated to team members so that services are rendered efficiently.

 

Key Distribution

The Field Manager is responsible for tagging, organizing, and distributing client keys to the appropriate team members.

 

Dispatching

The Field Manager must approve visit requests online and assign the appropriate team member to each visit. In addition, they must ensure that the work is delegated correctly so efficient services are rendered to the clients.

 

Scheduling

The Field Manager is in charge of scheduling team members according to the level of client demand. Therefore, they must adjust the routes of team members daily whenever there is a surge or decline in client visits.
 

Monitor/Supervise Team Members

The Field Manager must continually monitor all team members to ensure they're meeting company standards and communicate with team members to discuss any issues brought up by the client.

 

Hiring & Training Team Members

The Field Manager is responsible for sifting through job applications and interviewing candidates. In addition, two to three times a month, the Field Manager will hold training sessions to introduce new and current staff members to new behavior and medical cat care.

 

We're a quickly-growing startup with four full-time office staff members. In addition, you will be managing a team of cat sitters and pet sitters that varies in size, anywhere from 10-15 people, that will continue to grow as the company grows.

 

***Must have a reliable car and live in Berkeley. Albany, or El Cerrito ***

  • Full-Time Wednesday to Sunday 7:30 am - 11:30 am & 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm - off days Monday & Tuesdays.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred and will consider work-life experience for the right candidate.

  • CPR & First Aid Certified

  • Experience giving medication pilling, subq fluids, eye care, and breathing treatments.

  • 3-5 years of pet care experience in a veterinarian clinic, shelter, or pet sitting company.

  • Driver’s driver's license with the current registration and automobile insurance.

  • Able to work holidays and weekends
